2009 JCL Registered Players.

Several players took advantage of early JCL 2009 registration through jclpoker@verizon.net. It's easy, it's fun. Here is a list of who's in as of May 13th.
Stan
The Gooch (2003 Champion)
Tom (2008 Champion)
Seattle Slim
Bill (2007 Champion)
Buzz
Scott L.
Matt W.
JCL

Remember to get your reservation in. It helps to know how many players we have sooner rather than later. Also remember to ask anyone you think will have a good time at the JCL style of poker. It's fun and entertaining...until you land on Bad Beat Street.
-JCL

Tom Tom Club Hosts Fun Poker Night

Everett, WA.
The Tom Tom Club hosted an informal evening of poker on Friday, April 25, 2009. As always, it was a great night of cards and some terrific sound effects from The Gooch.
Two tournaments were held during the night. The first was a $10 Hold 'Em tourney, with Tom taking home the win after building an early lead and never letting it go. Drew came in second place after an improbable run to riches, going all-in twice and soon building himself an empire to behold. The Gooch won the second $11.50 buy-in tournament. Players included Tom, Buzz, The Gooch, Seattle Slim, JCL, Dan, Christina, and Drew.
Best soud effect of the night: A bird colliding with a helicopter rotor, thanks to the mastery of Gooch.
A fun evening.
